Rosanna Caira and Camille Carrigan-Schmidt are the founders and operating partners of Serendipity Foods. Together, they have brought their creativity, knowledge and experience in food to develop healthy foods. Camille Carrigan-Schmidt was raised on a dairy farm in Utah. As a child she too was introduced to family recipes passed down from her grandmother. Camille‘s passion for cooking led her towards employment in the restaurant business in high school. After college, she traveled to Alaska and worked on a salmon processing boat where she was responsible for separating fish eggs from guts with her bare hands and a knife. You could say that her passion and interest for seafood dishes became solid here. She later traveled through Europe to learn about food cultures in other countries. Camille moved to Los Angeles and spent 20 years working in catering, and 5 star hotels and restaurants including Ocean Avenue Seafood, The Water Grill, The Galley and Casa Del Mar. Camille’s specialties include seafood recipes, hot and cold dips and other foods for entertaining.
